What Rowbot is, and what it isn't.

What is Rowbot?+
A browser extension that does your repetitive work across the tools you already use. It reads pages, fills forms, and moves data between tabs, signed in as you.
Rowbot vs OpenClaw: what's the difference?+
OpenClaw needs its own machine running around the clock, and it roams anywhere, which is what makes injection dangerous. Rowbot runs in the browser you already have, on sites your admin allows, capped tool by tool.
Does Rowbot need an API to work with our tools?+
No. It works through the browser, so it runs the ancient supplier portal and the internal tool nobody will ever build an integration for. If your team can do it in a tab, Rowbot does it.
Is Rowbot an RPA tool?+
It replaces one. RPA records fixed selectors and shatters when a page moves. Rowbot works from intent, so it survives the layout changes that break scripts.
Safety

What stops it doing something you didn't ask for.

How safe is my data against prompt injection?+
Text on a page cannot give Rowbot powers it doesn't have. It is locked to the sites and the read/write/send tier your admin granted, enforced server-side on every request. An injected instruction hits a wall.
Can Rowbot go to a website we didn't approve?+
No. It runs on allow-listed sites only, set per host and per path. Everything else is blocked before the page loads. Revoke access and it stops immediately.
Do we have to give Rowbot our passwords?+
Never. It works inside your own signed-in session, so it reaches exactly what you reach and nothing else. No credentials to hand over, no service account to manage.
Can we see everything Rowbot has done?+
Every step, on the record. The log names who ran it, the page, the field, and the result, including anything the permission ceiling refused. Filter it by person or site and export it.
Using it

How does Rowbot learn a task?+
You do it once with the extension open. Rowbot turns those steps into a named rule you edit in plain words. No script, no field mapping, no developer.
What happens when a website changes its layout?+
It keeps working. Rowbot looks for the field you meant, not a fixed position. When a step genuinely no longer exists, the run stops and the log names it. It never guesses.
Can Rowbot run unattended?+
Yes. That is the point. You choose which actions it takes alone and which wait for sign-off, then it runs on a schedule or a trigger in a background tab.
How long does it take to set up?+
